Program Details:

You get a branded store ...
This program allows you to have your very own online store where you earn commissions on everything that is purchased. You will have an "affiliate online store" that offers all of the same products that are found at the Personality Insights online store. The difference is that your customers will enjoy a special 10% discount on all of the products (except clothing) for shopping at your online store, AND your store will be branded with YOUR banner graphics, title or logo. If you have a web site already, you will simply be adding one link onto your existing web site to take visitors to your online store. If you do not have a web site now, you can still email your store's unique link to your clients. In either case, your clients will be able to reach your online store and make purchases that you will be paid for.

We handle the details ...
Personality Insights will stock the products, process the orders, handle the online transactions and do all of the shipping directly to your customers on your behalf. You simply send customers to your affiliate online store (your shopping site), they make purchases and you receive commission checks. 

You earn commissions ...
The commission rate for consultants is a whopping 30% of the subtotal of your customer's purchase! Non-consultants are not eligible to earn commissions in this program.

The program cost covers all of the following for you:

  • store hosting costs (a $200/year value)
  • ecommerce software platform (a $500 value)
  • merchant and order processing fees (a $200-$500/year value)
  • security certificate for secure online orders ($100/year value)
  • staff for order processing and shipping (value = whatever your time is worth :-) )
  • intial setup of your account and branding ($100 value)
  • technical support
  • online course for better relationships / lead generator ($500 value)
  • free online quiz / lead generator ($500 value)

All of this would cost you $1000 - $2000 and/or many hours to create on your own!

So, what does the affiliate program cost you?  Only $49.95 for setup and $34/year thereafter.

That's only $2.83 per month after the first year!

There is a setup fee, because each account must be manually configured by Personality Insights. The setup fee will cover the configuration of the account including setting up the display of your own banner image or logo that will be shown to your customers. The initial setup fee will enable you to use your online affiliate store through the rest of the calendar year (just like your consultant renewal works). The annual renewal fee is currently only $34.00/year (which is only $2.83 per month!).

We think this price is kind of low, so we reserve the right to raise the price a little bit in the future. We have tried to keep this as cost effective as possible, and we will continue to do so. We have invested heavily to develop this program, and we are committed to making it easy and affordable for you to have an online store!

Setting up an affiliate account is easy! Just follow the steps below:


Sign-up Instructions

These steps are simple, but call Patrick at 972-540-6766 if you need some help :-)

Step 1: Click here to pay the one time setup fee of $49.95** to cover our cost for manually setting up and customizing your account. This will also pay for use of the online store through the rest of the calendar year (renewals are currently $34/year after that - which is only $2.83 per month). After you click on the link in this step, you will be shown the setup fee item. You will just add that item to your shopping basket and checkout to pay with a credit card.

If you do not have an affiliate store, and you are renewing for 2008, you can simply renew with an affiliate store and the setup fee will be waived (you can skip step 1). Just renew in January and then complete steps 2 - 4 below. To renew now, click here.

Step 2: Click here to login to your store account. After you click on the link to this step, you will be propted again to login to your customer account. Use the same login and password as you did in step number 1.

Step 3: Click on the link that says "Affiliate Request Form (consultants only)" . It will be a small link located at the top-left hand part of the page. After you click on the link to this step, you should see a simple form to fill in. Just follow the on-screen directions.

Step 4: Email Patrick Pettibon at patrick.pettibon@personality-insights.com to send your graphic logo or banner to use for your affiliate store. If you do not have a logo, then just email the name of your store (simple text) that you want to appear at the top of your store's display. We suggest a logo/banner size of 550 pixels wide, which is just over 7 inches wide. This will allow for a printer-friendly layout. Preferred image formats are .jpg or .gif.

That's it!   We will email you back your special link that point to your online store. You can put these links on your web site, and you may also email them to your customers. You will be ready for business.
